FAQ:

• Q. Unable to save on SD-Card or USB-Flash.

• A. Jota+ supports the Storage Access Framework. To enable saving to external storage, go to Preferences > File > "Use Android's standard File Picker" and check the option.

• Q. Can't find my file in the file browser.

• A. Please ensure that "Text File Only" is unchecked in the side menu.

• Q. Purchased PRO-KEY but unable to activate it.

• A. Please try the following steps:

• • Make sure your device is connected to the internet and logged into Google.
  • Confirm that PRO-KEY is installed in your system settings.
  • Click Menu > Preferences > Activate PRO-KEY within Jota+.
  • Reboot your device and start Jota+.
  • If issues persist, try uninstalling and reinstalling Jota+ or PRO-KEY.

• - Some devices have OEM-added Background Task Killers, which can interfere with inter-application communications. Please ensure that Jota+ and PRO-KEY are added to the permission list.

• - If you continue to experience activation issues, please contact our developer via email for further assistance.

• Q. How to hide Floating Action Buttons.

• A. Go to Preferences > Floating Button and select the "no-assign" option.

• Q. App exits before saving my file! / Overwritten my file!

• A. Check the Rescue Center in Preferences; you may find your file there.

• Q. How to use the in-app file picker on Android 11+ (for Connector plugins).

• A. Go to Preferences > Files > Use Android's standard file picker. Disable this option, select a folder for the in-app file picker, and create a new folder if needed. This will allow you to use the in-app file picker.

• Alt + F: Open menu

• Ctrl + PageUp/PageDown: Switch tabs
• Refer to Shortcut Settings to bind Ctrl + alphabet keys
• Note: Ctrl + T and Ctrl + W cannot be bound on Chromebook
